There is a very nice ambience to this hotel as soon a you walk in the door. This is made even more special by the wonderfully friendly, helpful staff in every section of the hotel (a special mention to the night porter who greeted us with a wonderful smile at 3am!) My only small comment is for the hard working young lady in the dining area at breakfast Saturday morning. It had quite obviously been very busy and many tables had not been cleared which did not look well at all. Perhaps another staff member could have helped? That being said, the young lady was very welcoming and served with great efficiency. As a last comment, the room was superb. There is a definite wow factor as you walk in, the beds are comfortable, bathroom fantastic with a heated towel rail, and if the view wasn't great the closing of the rich brocade curtains more than made up for it! I would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation. We had a meal in the bar and it was hot, tasty, with generous portions, and we cleaned our plates. I would like to say well done to all the staff members we came in contact with for their genuine friendliness. I would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time and the Meal was fantastic, the room was lovely and we really enjoyed the entertainment...I would like to say a special "Thank You" to the manager George for all his help and the friendly and helpful staff at the reception...Value for money was brilliant and I have already recommended you to friends are planning another visit to you shortly.
